I’m Maggie McCarthy, the founder of Heart Signet Studio. Trained in textile and surface design at the Fashion Institute of Technology, I began my career as a designer in large-scale retail. I soon realized this large-scale model was not sustainable and I needed to bring slow, intentional creation back into the mainstream.
Heart Signet Studio, established in 2025, grew from a desire to return to handcraft and to support the New England community I grew up in and continue to call home. The studio focuses on tradition, care, and heirloom quality - creating meaningful homewares while helping foster opportunities for those seeking a more creative and fulfilling life.
Every piece reflects my belief in thoughtful design, skilled making, and choosing less, but better. Thank you for supporting this work, handcrafters, and the New England community that shaped me.
